Exhibition information:
Through exhibitions by international photographers, the SMArt programme aims to raise awareness on the specific issues facing mountain regions. The main themes are climate change, water resources, biodiversity, food security and migration.
Sunderiya Erdenesaikhan is a Mongolian artist working mainly with the still-life genre. She likes to create new compositions by juxtaposing traditional Mongolian objects with everyday objects. Her main topics of interest are cultural and local traditions, as well as traditional food.
Sunderiya will be in residency in Bellwald from the beginning of October to the end of December 2023. Her project will focus on the themes of agriculture and cultural and local traditions.
