The Verbier 3-D Foundation is pleased to announce British artist Haroon Mirza as our artist in residence for 2023.
While residing in a dynamic community in the Swiss Alps, the artist will focus on creative work, local research and participation in interdisciplinary dialogue on current climate issues related to the themes of WATER and ENERGY. The goal of the residency is to develop a new project inspired by materials, technologies and/or environmental knowledge that draws on the surrounding countryside of Verbier, Switzerland.

By public transport
Travel by public transport to Le Châble. From Le Châble, either take a cable car or taxi up to Verbier (15 minutes).
Getting from Verbier to the Verbier 3-D Foundation sculpture park:
Take the Médran Lift to Ruinettes. From Les Ruinettes, you can walk down around Le Mouton Noir on the right. On your left you will see the sign for the Verbier 3-D Foundation Sculpture Park, which points you along the gentle, three-kilometre trail.
Or transfer to the La Chaux Express Lift from Ruinettes. Take the lift to the foot of La Chaux. Walk to the left of the Dahu restaurant until you see the sign for the sculpture park, next take the path down to the right. This path will take you back to Les Ruinettes.
